Frequently Asked Questions

  • What cats are available now?
Check out our adoptable cats by visiting the Available Cats page! Or come visit the Carmel Petco on 116th & Keystone during their open hours. We hold Adoption Days at that Petco every Saturday from 12pm to 4pm. We also have many cats living at the new Pawz Pet Cafe in Carmel that are waiting for you to visit them! Please complete an Adoption Application before you visit so we can get you pre-approved!
  • What is the adoption process?
We have a page dedicated to outlining the typical steps to adopting a kitty with us. Check it out HERE.
  • How do I apply for adoption?
Our applications must be filled out online. You don't have to have a certain cat picked out, but if you do, please include their name on the application or use the special link if provided in the cat's bio. Visit our Adoption Process page for more details.
  • Why is there an adoption fee?
The adoption fee is only in place to help cover the costs of cats while in our care. This care includes food, litter, vaccines, medicines, spay/neuter surgeries, toys, and more. The fees are different depending on the cat's age and breed mix. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (FVRCP), FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. There are times when cats require more medications or other medical care while they are with us.
  • How can I become a volunteer or foster?
Thank you for showing an interest in helping our rescue! Visit our Volunteer page to know what you'd do as a volunteer/foster and how to apply.
